You said that you would be there
You wouldn't let me down
But I found myself there waiting
You weren't anywhere around
This hasn't been the first time
It may not be the last
When you don't do what you say
It reminds me of my past
It's not that I don't trust you
Or think that you would lie
I just don't like this feeling
Or that I'm wondering why
I still don't really know you
But I hope I someday will
I just wish you would be there
And be honest with how you feel
